This is an excellent utility. Very useful for changing session only cookies so passwords do not have to keep being re-entered. As to adding cookies...WoW

Good work!

Just wanted to let you know that this tool is absolutely fantastic.. I've been using it nearly every day since day one (I'm a web app tester), and I can't thank you enough for investing the time to make such a great utility.

Some of the most helpful additions for me would be:
- URL en/decoder for content field
- Base64 en/decoder for content field
- Automatic refresh when a cookie is added
- Keyboard shortcut to open the main dialog box
- Button to delete all cookies
- Keyboard shortcut to delete all cookies
- Options to view cookie contents in the main dialog as hex (URL decoded first) and URL decoded ASCII

Thanks again! AnEC rocks! -

dave

Hi,

Great extension, nothing to complain about. Juts why is it that it never seems to successfully check if an update is available ?

Best regards,

It would be great, to add button "show cookies for current page", to quickly access to the cookies in opened page.

Great tool, use it all the time.

If you have time, an update to make it work with Firefox 2.0 would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

This is a really handy tool but the original maintainer seems to have moved on. Does any one have the source code so someone else can pick it up?

OK, I have downloaded and installed it. Now where is it and how do I access it?

I looked at the screen shots. I don't have an icon for it. There is no menu entry or toolbar icon that I can select it from. It might as well be on the dark side of the moon: I can read all about it and how marvelous it is but I can't actually perceive it directly.

Lynn, it is on the Tools menu. Look for "Cookie Editor". There should also be an icon, but you'll have to add it to the toolbar. Right-click on the toolbar, click customize, and you should see the icon. Click and drag it to the toolbar.

I'm so glad this has been updated to work with FF 2.0. Thanks Ken!
